Tips for Safer Wax Play

Paraffin wax melts at a lower temperature compared to other types of waxes used in candle making (~125F). Even with a lower melting temperature, all wax play poses risks of pain, burns, and bodily harm. As with all BDSM and kink practices, negotiating risk is vital!

• Apply to less sensitive body areas first (upper back, top of thigh)
• Dripping from at least 20" above the point of contact allows wax to cool slightly as it falls, reducing the risk of burns, pain, and redness
