Amy Wanner Jeansonne walks us through how our pelvic floor works (with lots of handy diagrams) and many exercises we can do, going well beyond Kegels, to improve our pelvic floor health, our posture, and our pain. She clearly differentiates what we can do for ourselves at home and what we need to see a physical therapist or doctor for. The pelvic floor is in many ways the literal foundation of our bodies, and taking good care of it is some of the best medicine we can give ourselves.
